Senior Developer
What you’ll get to do:
The Senior Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of Business and IT initiatives. This individual may work independently or collaborate with a smaller group of developers in similar efforts. This position is responsible for technical analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions as needed by business or IT. The senior developer works closely with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for a multitude of applications, including; web, client server, batch processing, portal applications, transactions and data and data warehouse architecture.

Key Accountabilities Relevant to this Role:
Candidate must have a strong development background with emphasis on SOA, distributed and event-driven computing as well as extensive hands-on experience with message-oriented Middleware, Tibco, Java, and other relevant technologies (i.e., XML, XPath, HTTP, JMS, IBM Websphere MQ, EMS and RV). Candidates will also leverage their Extensive experience with RDBMS (especially Oracle), SQL, PL/SQL and be familiar with iterative development life cycle and methodology.

The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals and demonstrate an ability to maintain effective work relationships across a diverse group of technical and non-technical team members and business stakeholders. Successful candidates will possess the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and properly escalate issues for a timely resolution. You will also be a self-motivated team player that thrives in a collaborative and competitive environment.
Project management experience in large scale projects involving multiple business units is a plus.

Qualifications and MUST HAVE Technical Skills:
•B.S. in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline preferred – alternative combination of education and directly relevant work experience also considered
•Must have at least 5 years’ experience with enterprise application integration development with
solid working knowledge of Windows and UNIX
•Strong working knowledge of VMWare or other virtual operating system
•Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the designing, deploying, monitoring, configuring and troubleshooting of enterprise solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks
•Must have working experience with HIPAA EDI X12s using TIBCO Business Connect or TIBCO Foresight EDISIM
•Must have strong knowledge with Web Services concepts
•Experience with TIBCO BPM tools is a plus.
•Must have strong functional and technical documentation skills
•Development skills in Java for client and web application development is a plus.
•Proficient with the following tools and skills: Data Query Tools (TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, etc)
